Terms of Use
Introduction
Last updated October 29, 2026. Discover OC is an independent Orange County discovery website operated by Juan Lugarda. These terms govern use of discover-orangecounty.com. By visiting, you agree to use the website lawfully and responsibly.
Information and accuracy
Information about destinations and experiences is provided for general exploration, not as a guarantee. Hours, parking, accessibility, fees, access, closures, and conditions can change. Confirm important details with relevant local authorities or destination operators.
Safety and access
Follow posted rules and closures, respect private property and protected environments, check current conditions, and take responsibility for your safety when visiting beaches, parks, trails, and viewpoints. Featuring a location does not guarantee access or safety.
Photography and copyright
Unless otherwise credited, original photographs, video, writing, site design, and other materials belong to their respective rights holders, including Juan Lugarda where applicable. You may browse the site and share links. Copying or commercial reuse requires permission unless legally permitted.
Third-party services
Directions may open Google Maps. Other links may lead to outside services, whose availability, terms, content, and privacy practices we do not control. A mention of a business or place does not automatically mean affiliation, payment, or endorsement.
My OC and availability
My OC uses browser-based saved-place functionality with Finsweet Components. Favorites may be lost when browser storage is cleared or when changing devices. Website features may change. Optional email signups are subject to the Privacy Policy and any unsubscribe choices provided in messages.
Limits and changes
The website is provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or perfect accuracy, to the extent allowed by law. Nothing here restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. We may revise these terms by posting an updated version.
